Lazy Saturday

We had a nice and relaxing Saturday in Saint Louis! Grace is back to sleeping through the night. (YAY!) Grace slept for a whoppin' 11 hours lastnight! (Mama didn't....as she kept checking on Grace!) But...it was still a wonderful snooze...and Grace picked a perfect day to sleep-in...on a Saturday!

Uncle Larry

Grace was able to meet Uncle Larry (Eden's husband) for the first time this evening! He along with some of our other seminary friends were in town for the symposium which was being held at the seminary. Grace thought Larry was a pretty cool guy and looks forward to seeing him again at Christmas time!

16 Weeks!

Grace has been extra smiley lately!

She's mastered the art of rolling over. She's getting a little too good at rolling over and wakes herself (and everyone else!) up at night! The joys of a three month old... :)

Healthy Baby!

We're so happy it's Friday! It was a long, busy, and exhausting week! Grace came down with her first cold. =( Sunday night she was all congested and was up every few hours during the night....thus....so were ma and pa! Thankfully Grace never got a fever. She seemed to feel better with each day that passed and finally slept through the night again by Thursday night. Yay for a healthy baby!

217 Days

Yep, that's right! Only 217 days until Call Day :)

We're hoping the days fly by. We have two interviews coming up at the seminary. One is in October and the other is in early November. We have no idea where we will be a year from now...but know that God is preparing that place for us! How exciting! :)

Enjoying a Sunday Afternoon

We've been enjoying a rainy day here Saint Louis! We had lots of rain this morning from IKE! Sounds like there was a good amount of flooding in the Saint Louis area...but it's not bad where we live. Dave nervously watched as the Broncos won this afternoon! (YAY!) And...Heather has been hanging out with Grace and preparing for the upcoming week with first graders!

Daddy's Day!

Wednesdays are the days when Dave doesn't have to head into the seminary for class. Dave and Grace were able to hang out all day! Not sure just how productive Dave was that day...

Dave's First Day of Class!

Dave was trying to reenact his "First day of school" picture back from second grade. If only I had that picture...we could compare!! Dave finally started classes today. It seems like we've been away from Seymour forever!! We're one day closer to call day so that makes us both very very happy! (and...Grace too!!) Dave had a LONG drive today. What should have been a 25 minute commute turned into a 60 minute commute! He didn't get off to as early of a start as he had hoped. His way back from the seminary wasn't too much better....(50 minutes!) Yikes!

Grace also started her first day with her baby sitter. She did great! We're having Tiffany, a seminary wife, watch Grace just while Dave is in class. She seems great and has a little boy of her own. She also lives right on campus so it's nice and convenient! Dave won't have class on Wednesdays, so Grace and daddy will be able to hang out all day! :)

Seymour Friends

Later this afternoon we headed over to visit with Pastor and Jan who were here for a quick trip to Saint Louis! It was sooo great to see them again! Grace was all dressed for the occasion (courtesy of Pastor and Jan!) for the big Colts game! Too bad the Colts didn't get off to a great start. Grace is confident the Colts won't let her down next time...after all....she is a true Hoosier! :)

We Love Visitors!!

After church today we had lunch guests! Nicole, John, and their two adorable boys were visiting Saint Louis this weekend and stopped by on their way back to Kansas City! Nicole is from Heather's hometown and is one of her sister's best friends. It was great to visit with them and have them as our lunch guests!

Three Months Old!

Being a three month old is exhausting!

Grace fell asleep in her exercauser....she can even sleep standing up! Such talent:)

No new stats this month...

Grace doesn't have another doctor's appointment until next month.She continues to be such a great baby! Such a blessing in our lives! Grace rolled over from her back to her tummy this week!

She's been sleeping great through the night as well! We put her down after her 8:30 feeding and she wakes up at 5:30 when mommy's alarm clock goes off. So...a nice eight hour snooze is wonderful for us!
