Snow Day #4!

Saint Louis got a good amount of snow/sleet...so it was another snow day for Heather! Dave doesn't have class on Wednesday...so we were all able to spend another day together. It was great!

Grace is going to be 8 months old already next week!

Snow Day #3

We were all able to stay home and enjoy the day together. Heather's school was cancelled and Dave stayed home to give Heather peace of mind! We didn't have a fun start to the day...as we lost power! Thankfully our power returned just over two hours later.

Interview Update!

Interviews have certainly been the highlights of our recent days. Dave has had two interviews and has two more scheduled so far. Two are for churches in Minnesota...and two are in northern Illinois. Dave learns of these interviews through his e-mail...so of course...Heather has been checking his e-mail for him religiously! Exciting stuff! Other than that....not too much new in the Lou! Dave has just four weeks until the end of his second quarter! Heather's been busy with school....and Grace is getting into more and more things! :)

We hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! It's been COLD here....but certainly not as cold here as it has been for some of our dear family and friends! Grace is looking forward to seeing Grandpa Larson this weekend as he is taking a few guys from his congregation to visit the seminary. He will stay with us for the weekend and Grandpa and Grace will take turns entertaining one another!

100 Days!

Well, it looks like we're down to 100 days until Call Day! (We still have 100 days?!?!) Dave was notified of another upcoming interview with a church in Minnesota. (Sounds cold!! :)

We will continue to hear about more interviews in the coming weeks ahead!

Another Snow Day

Heather had another snow/ice day today! She had a wonderful day with Grace! Here are a few pictures from their day together...

Seven Months Old!

Grace is already seven months old today! She's doing great...and is loads of fun :) She loves to babble, squeal, and flap her arms like a chicken. :) (Well, at least daddy think she looks like a chicken!) She still rocks back and forth on her hands and knees, but then finds it easier to just be flat on the floor:)! She's getting better with solids...she might actually be starting to like cereal?? Grace has also eaten squash, green beans, carrots, applesauce, and peaches too. Grace just got her first bottom teeth in recently! We noticed the first one at the airport on our way out to Denver...and we noticed the second one when we got back! She has done great with the whole teething thing and acted like it was no big deal:)!

Well January is certainly an exciting month for us as we should find out soon what other places Dave will be interviewing. Christmas time really made us miss our time at Immanuel...but we look forward to seeing where God leads us! Dave starts up with classes again on Monday. Only seven more weeks until the end of his 2nd quarter. Then he gets another two week break! Heather LOVED being home with Grace these past few weeks...and will start up teaching once again on Monday.
