Sesame Street Live!
We got to experience something very new today...SESAME STREET LIVE! :)
Grace was very excited to see Elmo and his friends :)
(Eli had his own little fun...and stayed home with a baby sitter!)

All Better!
Our trip back from Iowa was an adventurous one!
Lots of snow and a little tummy bug got Eli :( So...a trip that should have taken 4 hours...took 7! It made for a looong day of traveling...but we're thankful we made it back home safely!
It was the fasted little tummy bug!
Can you tell this little guy was under the weather just last night???

Senator Smith
Today we had the privilege of seeing our brother-in-law
Roby get sworn in as an Iowa State Senator!
The senate meeting was a bit long (if you ask me :)
So between keeping Grace and Eli entertained...I took a few pictures of room where Senate meets (And Roby's new second home!)
VIP Tour!
Following the senate meeting, we had the opportunity to take a VIP tour of the Iowa State Capital building!

We climbed lots of crazy steep stairs!

We soon realized why this was the VIP tour- and no small children were allowed :) You wouldn't have wanted to be on this tour if you were afraid of heights!

Hotel Fun!
We made a quick trip to Iowa to see my brother-in-saw Roby get sworn in to Iowa Senate!
They were able to get us some great rates and this fun hotel! :)
Where we spent the majority of our evening!
