Two Month Stats!

Eli had his two month appointment yesterday and the doc says he's doing wonderfully! :) He was such a little trooper through his shots (three plus an oral injection...) and cried for just a short time!

Here's the latest stats!

Height: 23 1/2" (75th percentile)

Weight: 13 lb. 8 oz. (90th percentile!)

Soooo Big!

I had a little "Mommy Moment" today! We're not anywhere close to potty training or anything yet...but she does have a little potty in our bathroom. Grace likes to sit on it before bath time. Well...today she left a little surprise for me in it! :)

Go Colts!

Eli was all ready and dressed for the Colts game this afternoon!

...And since the Vikings are no longer in the running there's no question as to which team we'll be rooting for in the Super Bowl!

Two Months!

Eli is two months old today! His main hobbies include eating and sleeping these days! :) He is growing so fast is already bustin' out of his three month clothes and is fitting comfortably into six month clothes! He makes the cutest little noises and is smiling more and more! Now if I could only catch those on camera...

8 Weeks!

Can't believe our little guy is almost two months old!

Fun with Grandparents

Grandma and Grandpa Greseth came and spent the afternoon with us while Daddy was busy at church! We played Yatzee, ate a yummy lunch, and even enjoyed a little bowling on the Wii!

Grace got to experience snow for the first time today! Last year she was too little...and this year it's been sooo cold up until recently!

This is what we're up to while Daddy's at work...

Mondays: We have Toddler Time at EFCE! This is a class that Heather and Grace started going to in the fall. The class begins with time to explore, sing songs, circle time, and plenty of time to play with kiddos her age! Eli got to experience his first EFCE too! (He slept most of time time in his carrier... :)

Tuesdays: The first and third Tuesday of the month Heather has MOPS. Grace gets to play with other toddlers her age and Eli gets to hang out with the mommys!

Wednesdays: Heather just started a 10 week Bible study on Esther! Grace gets to play in the nursery during this time and Eli gets to hang out and learn all about Esther too! :)

Thursdays: We have storytime at the library!

Friday: Is Daddy's "day off!" Of course daddy's a busy guy...so we enjoy any time we can get with him even if it's just an hour or two!!

Cloth Diapers!

If you would have asked me a few years ago if I would ever use cloth diapers...I would have thought you were crazy. :) Then after having Grace and seeing just how expensive diapers really are...I considered it. I went back and forth for a while with the idea...but decided not to. Then with Eli on the way and TWO in diapers I considered the idea once again. Finally, after some research and recommendations from friends...we took the plunge. I'll still use disposable when we travel, go places, and probably bedtime (until I develop a sense of trust with these things!)

6 Weeks!

Happy New Year!

2009 Was quite the year for us! Grace has grown so much and continues to be a wonderful and delightful blessing in our lives! We spent the first part of our year finishing out Dave's seminary career and Heather finished her year teaching a wonderful group of first grade students! We found out we were expecting another bundle of joy later in the year.

We got to experience the Call process as Dave interviewed with several churches. In April Dave received his first call to a wonderful church in Minnesota and graduated in May. We celebrated Grace's first birthday and visited the place we would soon call home in June. July was a big month as we made the big move to Minnesota, moved into our first house, and celebrated Dave's ordination. In late July Dave began his ministry at Trinity and Heather began her new life as a stay-at-home mom! We continued to settle into our new home, looked forward to welcoming our new addition, and prepared ourselves for our first winter in Minnesota! (Well, Dave's first... :) In November we welcomed a new baby boy Elijah to the family! So thankful for our many blessings! Looking forward to seeing more blessings in 2010!
